Our vision is a prosperous Czech Republic in the long term.

We see the key to prosperity in a free, value-cultivated and creative citizen. We see the path to prosperity in the development of democracy and in the active involvement of Czechs, Moravians and Silesians in the life of the European Union.

Part of our vision is a strong, secure and economically competitive Europe. A Europe that, in an integrated ecology, protects the environment and promotes global care for planet Earth, our common home.

Institute for Christian Democratic Politics (abbreviated as „IKDP“ according to its Czech name „Institut pro křesťansko-demokratickou politiku“) is the think-tank of the Czech People’s Party named KDU-ČSL.

Our goal is to reflect on and modernly interpret the values on which European society has grown up, to bring new impulses to the public debate from the point of view of Christian-democratic politics, to be an important platform for cooperation between centre-right partners and experts, to help defend the democratic society against authoritarian tendencies and extremism, to arouse young people’s interest in public affairs and to motivate them to enter politics.
